Graded Benefit Whole Life is a policy designed for those in less than perfect health. This plan allows someone who may not normally qualify for an insurance policy to purchase a permanent plan of insurance. We can do this by limiting the death benefit to 25% of the face amount should death occur in year one, 50% in year two, 75% in year three and 100% in year four and beyond.
Graded Benefit Whole Life features lifetime insurance protection, strong guarantees, cash/loan values, reduced paid-up insurance options and dividends.
An example of the annual premium (per thousand dollars of insurance coverage), plus a $50 policy fee:
$10,000 Graded Benefit Whole Life, male at age 35:
$16.13 x 10 = $161.30 + $50 policy fee = $211.30 annual premium
Smoker rates are slightly higher.
