IMPERIAL, Pa. — The Fraternal Department is pleased to announce the results of the 2007 SNPJ Lodge Reward Program. Congratulations to Fairport Harbor, Ohio, Lodge 355 for receiving SNPJ’s very first Superstar Lodge designation. Lodge 355 went above and beyond the call of duty to meet the goals and requirements for Superstar Lodge status. The Lodge received a $500 award.
Orange Coast Lodge 786 in Orange County, Calif., earned the designation of Gold Star Lodge, receiving a $300 award.
The following Lodges earned the designation of Silver Star Lodge, earning a $150 award: Lodges 1, 8, 53, 89, 97, 106, 113, 138, 158, 165, 174, 216, 223, 265, 274, 333, 347, 425, 449, 497, 559, 564, 576, 585, 603, 643, 745, 757, 777, 781 and A18.
Lodges 2, 321 and 604 earned the designation of Bronze Star Lodge and a $100 award.
The SNPJ Lodge Reward Program is continuing in 2008. All Lodge secretaries should have received a special mailing in January from the National President’s office containing a 2008 new member goal, as well as a Lodge activity planner. The Lodge activity planner must be completed and returned to the Fraternal Department by May 1. These should indicate the four activities the Lodge is planning to sponsor in 2008.
Lodges can qualify as Gold Star, Silver Star or Bronze Star Lodges based on certain levels of achievement. In order to qualify as a Gold Star Lodge and receive the $300 reward, the Lodge must meet their 2008 new member goal and meet their Lodge activity goal by submitting the Lodge activity planner by May 1 (listing four activities the Lodge plans to sponsor throughout 2008), sponsoring all activities, and submitting photos and articles concerning each activity to the Fraternal Department for publication in PROSVETA.
In order to qualify as a Silver Star Lodge and receive the $150 reward, the Lodge must meet their 2008 new member goal or fulfill their Lodge activity goal by turning in the Lodge activity planner by May 1 (listing four activities the Lodge plans to sponsor throughout 2008), sponsoring all activities, and submitting photos and articles about each activity to the Fraternal Department for publication in PROSVETA.
In order to qualify as a Bronze Star Lodge and receive the $100 reward, the Lodge must enroll at least two members in 2008; turn in the Lodge activity planner by May 1 (listing four activities the Lodge plans to sponsor throughout 2008), sponsoring all activities, and submitting photos and articles about each activity to the Fraternal Department for publication in PROSVETA.
There is a special category for those Lodges that go above and beyond the call of duty — Superstar Lodge. In order to qualify as a Superstar Lodge and receive the $500 bonus, the Lodge must meet all Gold Star Requirements, sponsor and report on five or more Lodge activities, and enroll at least one new members in every month of 2008. All articles and photos of Lodge activities must be submitted to the SNPJ Fraternal Department no later than Dec. 31, 2008, to qualify for rewards. These rewards are made in addition to the regular Lodge and secretary awards, and will be paid out at the completion of the 2008 SNPJ Lodge Rewards Program.
