BOROUGH OF SNPJ, Pa. — Hello to all our friends in SNPJland! The holidays are rapidly approaching, and we sure are happy here at the SNPJ Recreation Center. After Thanksgiving and Christmas, our thoughts turn to the new year and all the events that will be scheduled. The winter season goes fast and getting ready for the spring is what we do while waiting for your return to the Recreation Center.

The SNPJ National Bowling Tournament is returning to the Recreation Center the weekend of May 1-3, 2009. Our cabins will be up and running for the early birds to stay here. Time will go fast, and so will the cabins. Only our lower cabins will be available, so call for a one- or two-bedroom cabin for this event. Phone us toll-free at 1-877-767-5732. Since the tournament will be held four weeks prior to our typical opening date, we suggest you bring warm clothing and heavy blankets to make your stay comfortable. We do have heat in the lower cabins, but this time of the year will be chilly.

The weekend events are being planned as we speak, and I will let you know of the upcoming fun activities that will be arranged during the National Bowling Tournament. We will be preparing our Gostilna and kitchen menus, along with a special tournament entertainment schedule.
