STRABANE, Pa. — Lodge 138 will host the 2008 Family Twosome Bowling Tournament Friday, Nov. 28, at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The 6:30 p.m. Friday shift is full, but there are plenty of spots available on the 9 p.m. Friday shift and both Saturday shifts. All bowlers must be members of the same family and SNPJ members in good standing.
There are four divisions in which bowlers may compete. Majors are youths age 15-18 (up to age 18 if in the Youth Department), Juniors are youths age 12-14, Preps are 9 to 11 years old, and Bantams are those who are 8 years and under (this division only bowls two games.) Age division is determined by age as of Aug. 1, 2008. There are eight classes within each division: Father-Son, Father-Daughter, Mother-Son, Mother-Daughter, Grandfather-Grandson, Grandfather-Granddaughter, Grandmother-Grandson and Grandmother-Granddaughter.
If you are unable to bowl during the scheduled weekend, you can bowl anytime during the month of November at the lanes of your choice. However, you will need to turn in your printed scores sheets to me or to the Home Office. All entries must be received at the Home Office by Dec. 12. The address is indicated on the entry form.
