SAN FRANCISCO — Lodge 304 members recently held their annual meeting. Our 2008 officers agreed to remain in office for the 2009 year. Thank you and congratulations are extended to President Nino Dodic, Vice President Robert Bevc, Secretary Diane Kresevich, Treasurer Robin Talmadge, Recording Secretary Diane Brahney, Sergeant-at-Arms Dennis Brahney, and auditors Audrey Dodic, Doris Lovrin and Bits Rezak.

Lodge 304 will host its annual Pust celebration Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009. Please note the change in times: no-host cocktails will begin at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. Joey Bajuk and his group will entertain from 8 to 11 p.m. for your dancing and listening pleasure.

Lodge 304 will celebrate California SNPJ Days with a one-day event Saturday, Sept. 6, 2009. At this point, we are planning a sit-down dinner for the occasion.

Our Christmas celebration and dinner, attended by about 60 people, followed the meeting. The adults enjoyed visiting with old friends while the children had the time of their lives running about in the adjacent empty dance hall.

Congratulations to President Dodic and his wife, Audrey, who welcomed a new granddaughter Dec. 3. Baby Maci Jane was born on Nino’s birthday, making the event even sweeter. The happy parents are Ivan (304) and Leanne Dodic, along with big sister Emily (304). This is sure to be a very special holiday season for them.

We wish all members a healthy New Year. We send greetings out to those who were unable to join us at our holiday party, especially Carlo Kresevich. Our love to you, Carl!
