IMPERIAL, Pa. — It was a beautiful Friday afternoon as SNPJ members from Western Pennsylvania began to gather in the parking lot of CONSUL Energy Park in Washington, Pa., as part of the second annual SNPJ Region 2 fraternal event sponsored by the SNPJ Fraternal Department. I would like to thank Region 2 Vice President Jim Curl (6) for serving as host for the SNPJ Night at the Washington Wild Things baseball game on Aug. 21.

SNPJ sponsored a pre-game tailgate party for all members in attendance. Congratulations to John McElraury and Wayne Resetar, both of whom won family pack ticket vouchers to upcoming Washington Wild Things games, courtesy of SNPJ.

The next regional fraternal activity took me to the Detroit area. I would like to thank SNPJ Region 5 Vice President Tracey Anderson (677) for hosting SNPJ Night with the Detroit Tigers on Sept. 12. District 5 Athletic Director Ken Anderson (677) handled ticket sales for this activity. I thank all of our members in the Detroit area who came to enjoy the baseball game and shared in an evening of fraternalism with me. It was a great time!

These events are part of an on-going SNPJ Fraternal Department project to organize regional fraternal activities with the assistance of our Regional Vice Presidents. Look for a regional event in your area in the future!
