The Koper Science and Research Center of the Republic of Slovenia was established Dec. 1, 1994, by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, Community of Coastal Municipalities, and the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts. In March 2003, the center became the research nucleus of the newly established University of Primorska (UP) and was renamed the University of Primorska, Science and Research Centre of Koper (UP SRC).

Research project among people of Slovenian descent:
The Koper Science and Research Center at the University of Primorska, Slovenia, is doing research among people of Slovenian descent all over the world and has prepared an anonymous on-line questionnaire. The questionnaire is composed in the English language.

With this survey, we are interested in understanding the experiences of people who come to Slovenia to visit relatives or friends and rediscover their ancestral heritage. Your assistance in this research project will help us improve these experiences for future visitors. To take the survey, please follow this link:
