Teens Experience Leadership (TEL), a leadership workshop for 13-17 year-old SNPJ members.
SNPJ provides the TEL (Teens Experience Leadership) Workshop for its young members to have an opportunity to learn and develop strong leadership skills in a dynamic, group-oriented atmosphere. Held annually at the SNPJ Recreation Center in Enon Valley, PA, TEL participants travel from across the United States to bond with their peers and engage in a group learning experience led by inspiring workshop speakers.
By sharing personal experiences, workshop leaders motivate TEL participants to use effective leadership skills in their schools and community. Additionally, team leaders offer guidance and training in leadership situations, emphasizing the importance of team building and working together to solve problems. The idea behind the group process is that everyone participates.
SNPJ, through the Fraternal Department, pays the transportation, lodging and meal costs for TEL Workshop participants to attend as representatives of their local Lodges and Youth Circles.
The deadline for Lodges to elect TEL Workshop delegates is June 28 each year.
The deadline for TEL Workshop delegates to complete travel arrangements is July 16 each year.
